3GX V4.0 Improvements on Flight Modes

  • Improved collective pitch to elevator compensation function to stabilize helicopter attitude during rapid up/down movement of collective pitch, and to maintain consistent stability during fast forward flights, rolls, and other maneuvers.
  • Reinforce stability during fast collective pitch movements. When fast collective pitch command is executed, the helicopter's attitude is stabilized.
  • Improved helicopter swashplate control smoothness, creating smoother control response and improved stability, resulting a dramatic overall control feel.
  • Improved tail holding performance; Better consistency in pirouetting speed and better locking effect.
  • Improved better compatibility for different helicopter sizes large to small; More consistent control feel from 250 size to 800 size helicopters.
  • Improved helicopter swashplate movement stabilization; A more solid, stable feel at the stopping point after concluding rolling or maneuver pauses.
  • Added support for Spektrum DSMX satellites.

3GX V4.0 Setup Reminder

  • 3GX will revert back to factory default settings after update; therefore the setup procedure must be performed again after the update. During the setup process, follow the standard sequence of swashplate settings, rudder settings, and then the 3GX throttle range calibrations must be performed as well. For safety reasons, before running setup procedure, please ascertain Motor and ESC didn't connect together, to avoid start up rotator endanger yourself and others, or result in damage to the product or the property or others.
  • Before update 3GX, Please check your connect wire and power supply is in normal condition, because poor connect wire, power shortage, or interrupt during the update process will cause update failure and can not boot 3GX.
  • When used with APS, APS must be at version V1.3 (or V1.0 for APS Lite).
